DJI announced today the release of the DJI FPV Drone. The DJI FPV is different from other drones. Generally speaking, FPV drones differ from traditional drones in two major ways. The first is the immersive flight experience provided by the googles. The second big difference is the flight itself. Compared to most camera drones, FPV drones typically allow for much higher speeds and limitless maneuvering capabilities with no angle limits on any of the axes. Because of this, FPV drones have typically required a much higher level of skill to fly.
The DJI FPV has a Takeoff Weight of Approx. 795 grams and therefore requires registration and labeling.

I have sold my drone. It is registered in my name. does that matter?
If you registered under the recreational drone category then you should remove your registration label. If you registered under part 107 you should login to the FAA portal and remove the drone.
